The location is excellent, just a short alley
from a beautiful beach. The room was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the kitchenette for breakfast. It's a bit basic, but the friendly owner made up for it. Accessibility to local restaurants and bus routes was a bonus.

I really enjoyed the location of Meridian Inn. It’s just a stone’s throw from Dover Beach, making it perfect for beach lovers. The cleanliness of my room was impressive, especially the kitchenette equipped with clean utensils, which was a big plus for me. I loved having my own balcony with a nice view, allowing me to relax outside. However, I found the air conditioning was off upon arrival, making the room uncomfortably hot at first. There was also low water pressure in the shower, which made it a bit frustrating to use. Additionally, not having an extra blanket was inconvenient, although I managed since I packed a covering. Despite these hiccups, the overall experience was enjoyable, and the staff was always helpful with any questions I had.

the so-called restaurant was a complete joke, absolutely terrible food, and it took ages to even get served. i also expected some sort of complimentary treat upon my arrival but was met with nothing—absolutley disappointing, given how much i paid. it was nice that the hotel was clean and had a decent location though, i guess.

Couple getaway, Great value
I had a late check-out, which was super helpful, and the staff arranged a taxi for me right when I needed it, they were accommodating. Also got a solid night's sleep in my spacious room, which was a pleasant surprise, especially for the price.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but still pretty acceptable.

This cozy inn is a short walk from the beach and offers a comfortable atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped, including an ice tray in the freezer which I appreciated. However, the hotplate was subpar for cooking. Overall, a decent budget option with friendly staff.
